Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - None Review of previous meeting minutes: - Bob Ross moved to approve the June 19 minutes. Lance Wang seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. ARs: - Mike LaBonte to complete BIRD appendix for parser contract. - Nothing new. New IBISCHK bugs: - Bob: I sent bug194 for upload. It will be introduced June 8. IBISCHK7 parser development: - Bob Ross showed a spreadsheet. - Bob: This shows items that should be in data structures. - Some of the data are optional. - A power rail terminal is only accessible through the *_ref terminals. - With [Pin Mapping] there is more information. - Mike: What are the numbers in the spreadsheet? - Bob: Those are footnote numbers. - Mike: D4-6 are empty. - Bob filled in D4 with "rail_pin_names". - Bob: If buffer terminal reference and no [Pin Mapping], then default connections will be used. - This table shows the pecking order from left to right. - Mike: IBISCHK does not have this kind of data structure. - Bob: We now need this for checking. - Bob described a number of rules. - Mike: Is the I/O terminal more straightforward? - Bob: Yes. There are fewer options for I/O. - Mike: This needs to be more self-explanatory to be in the parser doc. - Bob: Another approach is to always determine a signal name. - There could be lists of I/O terminals associated pulldown/pullup. - Bob showed his Oct 2017 EPEPS summit presentation. - Bob: This was shown to the interconnect task group too. - BIRD182 dropped the requirement to have every pi in [Pin Mapping]. - Mike: can [Bus Label] exist without [Pin Mapping]? - Bob: Yes. We require a signal name, and this creates a bus-label for a signal_name. - [Die Supply Pads] has signal name and optional bus_label. - If bus_label not defined anywhere it is the signal_name. - Bob Ross moved to adjourn. Mike LaBonte seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:05 ET Next meeting July 3, 2018
